🥪 Come for the food, stay for the code and camaraderie! 🤖

Philosophy 🧠💻

“We can do without an extended family as human beings about as easily as we can do without vitamins or essential minerals.” -Kurt Vonnegut

Format and tone inspired by the Brainhack ethos – open, inclusive, and collaborative – emphasizing learning-by-doing, peer support, and a relaxed atmosphere 😎☀️ Perfect for summertime fall, y’all!

(That all sound great, Craig, but I still don’t understand… Why are you doing this??)

Please add your name to the sign-up sheet if you plan on joining us. If there’s a topic you want to learn, let it be known; if there’s a topic you want to teach, even better!

Add your info to the lunch order sheet! Please enter/update your order by Wednesday afternoon so the Roots staff have enough time to prepare.

Summer Schedule (old) 📅

Here’s what we covered over the summmer: Weekly Schedule (summer). The fall will consist of fewer presentations and more unstructured time for hacking. That being said, I’m happy to cover any summer material in the fall with folks who are interested in learning more about MRI, etc.

Quick Start 🚀

  1. SIGN UP if you haven’t already
  2. Add your lunch order to the list
  3. Create a GitHub account if you don’t have one – we will occasionally upload scripts, slides, and other materials here.
  4. Get in touch! – Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or recommendations. I’m all ears! Let’s make the most of this 😄
